The Bainbridge Island Municipal, Chapter 12.28, entitled "Comprehensive Sidewalk Plan," needs to be updated to reference the current planned facilities maps in the newly-adopted Island-Wide Transportation Plan (IWTP).

Prior agenda items with the City Council, including on May 9, 2017, and on February 21, 2017, involved discussion of the topic of non-motorized frontage improvements required when new development is permitted. The Council directed that for projects not part of larger land-use action (i.e., single building permits), only sidewalk improvements as indicated should be required, which is consistent with the prior version of Chapter 12.28 BIMC.
