| | | | | | | | DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND | In August 2017, the City was presented with an offer to acquire the Casey Street Water Company which is categorized as a Class B water system per the Kitsap Health District. The system currently serves eight homes on Casey Street and two on Ferncliff. There will be no cost to acquire the system; however, the City will be responsible for any costs associated with the transfer of ownership, i.e., administrative and/or legal fees.
The Utility Advisory Committee discussed this offer at their September 13, 2017, meeting and recommends that City staff move forward with the Casey Street Water System acquisition.

|
| | | | | | | | RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION
