Action Item:

 

Council discussion of proposed modifications to the approved 2018 budget.

 

History:

 

The City of Bainbridge Island prepares a biennial budget, which provides a financial plan for two years. Most recently, the Council adopted the 2017-2018 Budget late in the fall of 2016. City administration is now proposing a limited number of adjustments to the 2018 Adopted Budget for consideration.

 

At the October 17, 2017, Council meeting, there was an initial presentation of the modifications to the 2018 Adopted Budget. The Council did not make any motions to provide additional modifications or remove proposed modifications.

 

At the October 24 Council meeting, there is time reserved for Council discussion. In particular, staff is requesting clarification of any new areas of work that the Council would like staff to consider.
