| | | | | | | | | DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND | Pursuant to RCW 3.50.135, Municipal Courts must provide for jury trials on misdemeanor cases when requested. For many years, the Kitsap County Clerk’s Office has agreed to provide the Bainbridge Island Municipal Court with jurors when the City has a request for a jury trial. The current contract expires on December 31, 2017. The new contract, for January 2018 through December 2020, does not have any monetary changes from the present contract.
