DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND

Mary Healy has proposed to place a bench in memory of Zoya Mussienko at the Waterfront Park. The bench will match the existing bench near the city dock. City donation policy requires City Council approval of this donation.

The City shall be responsible for the maintenance of the bench and the initial term of the Agreement shall be for five years. See the attached Agreement for more details.

The City Council considered this donation at its November 14, 2017, meeting. At that meeting, the Council forwarded to the consent agenda for this meeting acceptance of the donation and approval of the associated donation agreement.

RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION

Approve with the consent agenda the Waterfront Park Memorial Bench Donation Agreement and the associated bench donation and thereby authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and accept the donation.
