DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND

At the January 16, 2018, City Council meeting, the Council asked staff to prepare a resolution establishing the goals specified by the Council for the development of the Suzuki Property. The proposed resolution is attached.

 

As directed, the resolution includes:

 

  1. Recommendations of the Affordable Housing Task Force;
  2. Milestone status reports to the Council;
  3. Requirement for the Council to formally approve each phase of project;
  4. Development of an optimal number of affordable units; and
  5. Directs the City Manager to negotiate a development services agreement with Olympic Property Group.


RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION

I move that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2018-03.
