On November 14, 2017, the City adopted Ordinance 2017-28 updating the 2017-2022 six-year Capital Facilities Plan including grant amounts the City applied for to support various transportation projects.

The City was successful in receiving award notice for the following grants:

- A Federal Highway Administration Grant for the Fletcher Bay Road Core 40 Non-Motorized Transportation Program Project in the amount of $389,000.

- A Federal Highway Administration Grant for the Sportsman Club/New Brooklyn Road Intersection Improvements in the amount of $156,000.

- A Federal Highway Administration Grant for the Olympic Drive Non-Motorized Improvement Project in the amount of $878,320.

- A Washington State Transportation Improvements Board Grant for the Olympic Drive Non-Motorized Improvement Project in the amount of $400,000.

Accepting these grants will require signing agreements with the grant-issuing agencies and City commitment for required matching funds, which has been budgeted.
