DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND

The City has begun the subarea planning process by appointing a citizen Steering Committee (November 14, 2017, City Council meeting). The Steering Committee has had two meetings to date. The January 17 meeting included review and comment on the DRAFT Island Center Subarea Planning Public Participation Plan (PPP). The PPP was drafted by former Communications Manager Kellie Stickney.

 

The PPP (attached) will be used by the City throughout the Island Center Subarea Planning Process with the goals of transparency and stimulating an important community conversation about the future of the greater Island Center area.

Approve with Consent Agenda.
