The proposed Sportsman Club Road / New Brooklyn Road Intersection Improvements project will relieve current congestion and ensure mobility for the town center by constructing a roundabout, sidewalks, and bike lanes at the intersection. Preliminary engineering work will include community involvement, physical survey work, permitting, and associated storm water mitigation.
A subsequent final design phase will occur after Council approval of initial design.
The City solicited Requests for Qualifications through area newspapers, including the Daily Journal of Commerce, and the City's bid posting webpage.
Staff reviewed the qualifications of multiple firms and Skillings Connolly, Inc., was selected as the most qualified consultant to prepare the preliminary design in the amount of $49,157.73.
