| | | | | | | | DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND | The current employment agreement between the City of Bainbridge Island and Matthew Hamner was entered into on April 25, 2013, and expires on June 10, 2018. A new employment agreement has been drafted for City Council consideration (see attached). Proposed changes to the employment agreement are shown in red-line formatting. The changes include:
- Employment term changed from a five-year term to an open-ended agreement;
- Increase City contribution to Deferred Compensation from 4% to 8%;
- Add Retention Pay in an amount of $10,000 in 2018, $5,000 in 2019 and $5,000 in 2023.
